Hello! I've been lurking here for a few months, and just decided to join on a whim. Well, my real name is Al, though most people just call me Mach. I've been interested in WWII since I read about it in my "Children's Book of World History" when I was 6 years old. I'm mainly interested in the politics leading to the war (and after) than the military battles. So, I guess the eras I'm interested/well-versed in are 1927-1950. Not much to say about myself other than that, I like writing, reading (History, Biographies, Science Fiction), and I used to be a huge gamer, though not so much anymore due to school and work eating up all my time. Oh, and I'm from Canada too! Any fellow Canadians? That's about all, looking forward to some awesome discussions with you all.
Hi there Mach, welcome to the forums. Yes, there are many other Canadians in the forum. Look forward to your input.
Welcome aboard, Mach. We look forward to what you have to say. Plenty of fellow Canadians around from all parts of the country.
Hello Al and welcome to this fine place! If you are a fan of the political scenario between the World Wars, I suggest you read How America Saved the World. It presents an excellent discussion of the period.
