    CAN SOMEONE TELL ME PLEASE WAS THERE A MEDAL GIVIEN TO THE MEN WHO FOUGHT IN THE CAMPAIGN DURING WORLD WAR TWO,

    I suspect you are looking for British awards (based on your locations). If so, check this site. Partway down the page is a list of 8 awards given. Number 4 is the African Star. Perhaps this is what you are seeking.

    it was the african campaign i was looking into my son in laws grandad louis herbert rose spent 4 years in service in the african campaign
