D-Day Beaches

    I don't know how many people in this site have walked the D-Day Beaches and towns of St. Mere Eglise, but to really appreciate what was done on D-Day you need to do it. Also I would highly reccomend going to the small town of Angoville-Au-Plain and learn the story of the US Airbourne Medics who established a small field hospital there.

    Did you take any pictures? Does it still look like it would in 1944? If I find there has been a Wal-Mart or McDonald's built there, I will seriously hurt someone.

    I love before and after images. It's nice to see that area hasn't changed all that much.
