the silver sword...t.v. series from 1957..

    the silver sword 1957 t.v mini series,does anyone remember it,I'm trying to recall what the plot was,I do remember it was sort of post war? as it seemed to depict a lot of rubble bombed houses and the like,ray..:confused:

    Series before my time but the book's a classic for class reading. Read it when I was at school and later with my class as their teacher.

    I was 11 then,and watched it every week,but didn't really see what was the plot,please enlighten me gp,ray..

    Thanks again Ray. I know I would have liked that series if I ever got a chance to see it?

    Also, I wonder if Pat Pleasance is any relation to Donald Pleasance?

    I remember reading it at school as part of the English course, don't remember the TV series though.
