Hi clint, actually I was thinking of taking a rowboat and rowing my way around the world-that should give enough off-forums time to those who can easily pass my numbers by )

Seriously though, im already combing some local electronics stores here looking at laptop prices to compare with those your telling me about. I don't know what brand i want yet but, when the purchase time comes-im getting one of my nephews to do the picking since he's more into the electornic-age than i am and knows what to look for. he was telling me i could get a great one that does what i want and need-for under $500 bucks. my first thing to get before that though, is a new flat screen TV set made by toshiba. i found a great one at Fry's for $250.00 It comes with a built in DvD p[layer. normally i don't want built in extras like that but-for the price-i will get a nice set which has ai think a 19 inch screen-big enough for anyplace im going to be residing in for a few years-and the picture, sound and clarity and such-was impressive.

 

Heh heh, no worries in that Dept. I can't run these days thanks to still recooperating from both feet being operated on :lol: :lol:

Thanks MAte ;-)) Also, now just TRY to imagine me running in the best of situations. Ever since I played Socceer, Football and Baseball, i've hated running. Walking is a different matte-I love to go for long walks-go figure ;-))

Oh well gents, your posts are always worth reading with great interest, especially the ones from the Tomcat (the mod with the most) for obvious reasons. Ray is always quick to add depth to a discussion with a snappy and well placed response, and DA always makes me cringe and keeps me on my toes when I see his posts with one of my quotes listed, good or bad. So, congrats, salutations and all that stuff associated with bounding over milestones such as these!
