    Hello!
Here are some pictures of a revolver i have found nearby the fortress belt near Antwerp. This is a type of Bulldog revolver wich was made by the Belgian weapon factory L'ancion Marx in Liege.Probably this was a weapon from a Belgian officer.

Hi melle, excellent find. "Liege" revolvers were extremely popular in western Europe in the beginning of the 20th century. They were sold in many countries, particulary in France, including to civilians. You could even order them on catalogues with all kind of options. These revolvers were massively used by Belgian and French troops (non official boot revolvers) , but also by Germans who conficated those in 1940 and kept them as emergency weapons for close combat situations. They are often sold at local flea markets for about 70 euros a piece (demilitarized) .
