I know several here are multi-forumed members, how many are you a member of,and what differences do you find between one and another?
When you say forums do you specifically mean ww2 forums or forums in general? Because if it is ww2 forums then it is 2, WW2f, and WW2T. I find WW2F to be more homely and accepting then WW2T. If however you mean in general then it is probably around 15 sites. It various from computer forums, gaming forums, history forums, car forums, well pretty much anything.
3 - WW2f Gamefaqs(video game forum, also has a excellent pc forum) Kittie(metal female band, i am an admin on this board)
ray, I am also a part of Armchair General... but rarely post there, the forum is huge!! As the forum fancies a larger spectrum in history, I have found the connections and site navigating a bit frustrating. I'm with teach' (Lou) on this one, who has time for more??? all the best my friend, Jem
hi mark, thanks for that, wholly agree! how many do you need? more importantly how much time do you have to kill!
Well......the ones I still tend to visit are here, ww2talk (but not very often), online-archaeology, secretscotland.org, derelict places, and the airfield information exchange. This one for the history, the rest for archaeology; I'm actually a founder member of online-archaeology.
where do I begin as I am everywhere Marinearchiv forums Luftarchiv forums axishistory though not much goes on there feldgrau though not much goes on there moderator at ww2aircraft.net ww2f.com ww2talk.com luftwaffe-experten message board 12 o-clock high discussion forums wk2ammo forums hyperscale.com wehrmacht-awards at least 5 other German language history forums all in the name of research gentlemen and book publishing, no single source can provide all ............information from all sources is priceless. sitting on one single forum is choice only, what do you prefer, need, accept, want, desire........whatever for now E ~
1. WW2Talk.com, our British board 2. I also post some at the World Affairs Board, a political discussion board that we encourage our members to visit to discuss current politics. 3. A general naval history forum. 4. A South Eastern Conference forum. I don't go there much if it isn't football season. I belong to about 4 others boards (WWII, political or sport) but I rarely visit or post at these.
Three (counting this one), ww2t and I still haunt the History Channel forum on occassion just for a good laugh. The postings over there are sometimes too bizarre for belief. I used to be involved in another forum, but it went extinct after about seven years due to less and less participation. That one was called Historic-Battles, and simply became the same people talking to each other so it went rather deadish, and was closed.
Ray having my own business helps but also too I do not sleep more than two hours an eve thus I can correspond with friends and Familie in Germany when I am on their time schedule. I have pretty much left feldgrau and axishistory lay like a dead dog due to disinterest. It is interesting though what a person can pick up from time to time and must confess my data files are enormous........pics hopeful in the future from the cave
Erich is also moderating on his local cyborg forum, this is where he learnt how not to sleep any more.
