    hello everyone, great forum here.

    Im looking to find out what kind of rifle this is, its a friends and im stumped on what exactly it is and what that is on the stock.

    The type 44 is probably the one japanese rifle i like, the type 38 is way to long for what I like. Best parts the bayonet, it reminds me of the mosin nagant M44. to bad ammo costs an arm and a leg to get it.

    Hopefully the mum is intact. This will increase the value. Either way its a neat piece.
