Just so you chaps now, Urqh and myself have engaged in the most epic of Battles! A battle of such epic proportions that neither of us even have to lift a finger!! The Background: Urqh is clearly a Liverpool fan, even down to his basic english grammar (or lack there of ) while myself, I am Gooner for life. Over the years (or months, or however long he has been over at WW2Forums) we've often bantered back and forth like any good rivals. We find ourselves both mired in battle as we watch the current EPL season play out. With Liverpools gracious exit from the Champions League and things not looking much better on the home front, Urqh has decided enough is enough, time to back up our friendly words with action! The Battle: Urqh believes Liverpool will finish in the TOP 4 and qualify for Champions League action next year, continuing their run in the Champions League. I believe that Liverpool will not finish in the TOP 4 and thus not qualify for Champions League action. What is at stake!?: If Liverpool qualify for Champions League then Mussolini must leave both WW2Forums and WW2Talk for the entire month of September before returning. If Liverpool fail to qualify for Champions League then Urqh must leave the WW2Forums and WW2Talk for the entire month of September before returning. --------- Happy Hunting!
I think your on a sticky wicket matt,I cant see liverpool not doing it....my son would be proud of me for saying this......no counter bet? like arsenal no chance of winning the champions league!
Well, a bet has to be about one thing, covering both sides (aka Man Utd Winning the League, Man Utd not winning the league). In our case, its Liverpool Qualifying or not Qualifying for Champions League. Urqh understands already that Arsenal will finish in the Top 3 this year so no point wasting a bet on that.
I'm currently collecting for Mussolin's sun tan lotion...Hes spending some time on the Florida coast in September.
Don't be counting your chickens until all your eggs hatch! Still a loooong time to go, and I think Man City still has a game or two in hand. Villa and Spurs are still in the hunt too!
My eldest son was born with a terrible affliction. I've tried to clean it with toon broon, blowing it away with Brian Johnsons loud voice... But the wee bastard still likes Liverpool. The middle lad is fond of Arsenal, and if the wee bairns fisrt words isn't King Shearer I'll leave him out in the woods. (did me wonders anyroads)
