Since everyone here likes to make plastic models, I have decided to post this thread for all of you who would like to share and show off all the models you have made so far. You can also include a few tricks for rookie model makers like myself. Please post any picures of your models if you can. Any model is acceptable here, so feel free to post it. Also include the scale please.

The following are my models so far (I don't have a glass case or a diorama for them):

    In order of completion:
1/72 SBD Dauntless (friend gave it to me)
    1/72 F-14 Tomcat
    1/700 Akagi "Three Flight Deck" (1934-1935 decals;
and in case you're wondering, the Akagi I made was the second one I ever completed, so putting on the decals wasn't my best technique)
    1/72 F4U-1D Corsair
    1/48 F-14D Super Tomcat
1/72 PBY5A Catalina (friend gave it to me)
1/48 SBD Dauntless (with moving rear machine gun, working landing gear, hook, movable dive brakes, dropping bomb, and ground crew.)

Really nice! Thanks for sharing with those of us who don't have the skill to build models.

Excellent model of the Akagi with its pre-single flight deck. Reminds me of my model of the Akagi.

Thanks for the complements, but make sure you post some pictures of your own model in this thread as well.

I never seen an Aircraft Carrier like that before?

I used to build many Models many worked Remote Control but through the years and many moves Misplaced or broken. One of my Dogs Chewed 3 of them:(

The Akagi at that era was the three-flight-deck design before the Japanese Navy made some modernizations to remove the other two flight decks.

BTW, I have two new models now:
    F4F Wildcat 1/72
    A6M5 Zero 1/72

1/720 actually, if that's the old Revell kit.

It is 1/700 scale and not a Revell kit. It is actually a Hobby Boss kit
