For any fans of Yul Brynner and Tony Curtis, yer in fer a treat if you nab a copy of the original Taras Bulba-which they starred in. I was crusing through Amazon today and stumbled across this movie and a remake-which was unkn to me as having been made) and both are on DvD.

Also, I know a few here have read me post about a great foreign film called Kapo. Well, its on Dvd as well-only not for American and Canadian audiences-damnit. There are afew other surprises on DvD as well-which ill go into later.

Yes, I too thought that that was a great film, almost as good as 'The Vikings'!

Didn't know of a remake - who was in it?
