If you ask me, its disgusting how kids around my age (18) and how even people in their twenties and thirties have no respect for their elders. My family is old school irish (Dad moved here when he was 7 and my grandfathers got such a thick brouge that my friends laugh at the fact that I ever understand what hes saying.) so when I was younger it was always yes sir, or no mam and please and thank you other wise i got a kick in the ass. I find it disgusting how some of my friends speak to their parents.

As someone who is joining the service (USMC) I find it disgusting how men like "Vietnam Tom" are treated. The man clearly has issues do to the war and I'm glad that the other guy got what he did. He'll think twice before he gets in the face of an old man again. Things like this video is a reason why I always make a point of thanking the men who served when I see them wearing things like veteran hats and uniforms when I see them in a reasturant or a doctors office.

The sad thing is that this video shows how America has become a society of spectators. No one, other than the older black woman, tried to defend the elder man. Too many instances where someone is getting beat up and people around do absolutely nothing. Disgusting
