    Hello texson66,

Well then I guess that the fatty Colonel on the right hand side shares the same thoughts :D

Although, if she was thinner, the bullet may have missed her altogether!

OMG, I guess no one above 0-5 ever reads the ops orders for the uniform of the day. On the other hand, this might have been a commanders call where everyone shows up in their organization UOD(BDUs, flight suit, blues, etc)

But an O-6 with hands in her pockets????? Dear Lord, I'm embarrassed for the AF!:eek::eek:

And of course the AF dough boy/girl rules are supposed to be followed.....(out of service in one year for failing to meet weight limits..)
    Right....Very sad!

I had a Lt who missed his weight in by 1 pound two times in a row. Then I had to attend the fat boy lectures with the Lt. On the way back to the office, I told the Lt, "No more diving on base privileges for you. You will walk everywhere from now on."

3 months later, he was under the limit by 7 pounds!

The rules are still followed, at least for enlisted folk. My buddy was told that if he didn't meet his physical (in his case, weight) requirements for the Navy he'd be out. He failed. He's out.
On the other hand...maybe this photo was meant to demonstrate the different looks of the Air Force? I've seen several type photos for all branches of the service. Not sure what the hands in the pocket look was going for though.

If she had a straw in her mouth, and was kicking her foot, I could almost hear her saying " Aw, Shucks!":D

    Hello Texon66,

:D Good one, I almost had the same thought about that colonel

Well we Germans in the Bundeswehr are not much better either
A German parliamentary report into the physical fitness of German soldiers has found that they are fatter than the average citizen. 40 per cent are overweight, and 9% are considered to be obese.
