    Hello to all out there.

I have been researching the history of my great grandfather since a chance discovery was made that he was awarded a Distinguished Conduct Medal for his actions during the 2nd Chindit campaign in 1944.

Our family were not aware of this award, so since finding out I have been researching why, where, when etc.....

It has been an emotional journey to say the least so far.

I am finding out so much about the horrors of his time out there and obviously this does not only relate to him but many many men who were in the same place going through the same campaign.

Anyway, my search for information continues as it will do for a long long time yet.

    Eddie
