Help with My Grandfather and His Unit

Good Morning,

My Grandfather, Abraham Semelmacher (Brooklyn, NY) served in Patton's 3rd Army, 4th Armored Division in the 35th Tank Batallion.

Both my grandfather and grandmother have passed away, and neither my Uncle nor my mother have much information about my Grandfather's service.

I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction for info about records and service of both the 35th Batallion and my grandfather.
