I´m the new guy here, nice to meet you all. I looked at the forum before I become a member. Seems to be a nice place for WWII nerds, I`m real WWII nerd. I´m from Sweden, ja. My interests are more directed to doctrines, how all parts are coordinated to achieve the mission. Have a nice day Machiavelli

Thanks, nice to meet you all. Btw, I have a query. I have seen these medals and such beside the avatar. How does that works? I might ask more later, when I come across something I do not know about. take care M
Thnak you, guys, I have a new question. I´m not allowed to start a new thread? I had in my mind to ask you guys about a book, but I do not remember the title. It has essays with stories from WWII. Especially two stories, two women, one she was married with a soldier 82nd Airborne, he went through torch, Italian campagin, normady, market garden, and then home He was a proud paratrooper when he went out, and a wreck when he returned. Drinking problems, abused her violently. He screamed through the nights haunted by nightmares. Her story is interesting. The other woman was a nurse in LA, I believe. she worked with badly burned victims and she describe a story about a naval aviator, badly burned after Leyte and how people reacted to him when she brought him to a café any of you know what book I´m talking about? take care Machiavelli
