And to you as well, I have a nice ham set out for the baking this afternoon. Looking forward to scalloped potatoes, roasted asparagus, and a nice baked ham. I miss the kiddo's hunting the easter eggs, and my grandkids live too far away for me to watch them anymore, but my son sends me little "videos" of them every time on the gmail and so I get to watch them sort of anyway. This will be Benjamin's first one where he is old enough to go "hunting" on his own.
The mini skippers shave been hunting eggs this morning, there will be another egg hunt organized by the town tomorrow. I bribed my oldest to go with the younger ones, this way I can run to the flea markets alone and hunt for WWII relics while they get chocolate. I went this morning and got a pair of WWI binos and a couple of chin straps for Adrian helmets too, can't wait to go back tomorrow. Happy Easter!
Happy Easter....aside from the chocolate, the bunnies stealing all of the credit for the eggs (My chickens all looked offended this morning as the kids hunted their eggs outside) let's not forget the real reason for the season!!

A bit late, but Happy Easter to all. Recovering from a hectic but fun Easter dinner with my kids, their spouses and 5 grandchildren. Ham, mashed potatoes, roasted sweet potatoes, veggies, and enough dessert to spike everyone's blood sugar.
Happy Belation to the season beyond Easter eggs, though my 4 grand-kids had a blast hunting for them. Some of them in the snow............ HE is RISEN !
Yes, Happy Easter to you all, and happy passover to all our jewish friends! nothing better than watching 18 hours the ten commandments for easter. .. it's one of those classic movies i could never get tired of watching.. not sure why.. must be the acting and the excellent costume, or maybe it has become tradition to watch it on TV every year since childhood. but it's got to be the longest movie ever! best part of it all is comming up.. chocolates are 50% off.. I'm getting me some cadbury mini eggs! Simply the greatest thing invented by man.. besides the toilet, which is where the mini eggs will eventually land!! sorry about the visual! Hallelujah!!!! Happy belated Easter guys!
