I have these helmets that I inherited a long time ago from a great uncle who passed away about the time I was born. I do not know much about them, other than that he picked up the german stuff in Germany at the end of the war and the US helmet was his.

I am interested in finding out more about them, how much they might be worth, as well as possibly finding a venue for possibly selling them.

Hi, the helmets are a luftshutz-air raid warden- and an american M1, both look original, though the M1 might be 40's or 50's, but probaly ww2-these are not something I know lots about. Not sure on values, maybe $100-150USD each.

from pic it's hard to tell if front or rear seam, If front seam? definately WWII, rear seam from nov 1944, this link will help to date it.. liner is WWII .. Dating the M1 Steel Helmet

I'm afraid it's a back seam but the liner looks in good condition though. The values given by Von Bond are about right.
