:D Hello everyone... new here...I must be honest, I joined to try and get info about my dad (passed away many years ago)...and I am going to get my husband to join because he is a military history buf and should enjoy this place. He waon't join anytime soon because we farm for a living and he is too busy this time of the year...but later down the road he'll join up!!

Anyway...I will be posting to ask questions for my search on dad's tour of duty.
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Dad is buried in the VA Cemetary on Long Island. I've been around our country, and settled in Wyoming about 25 years ago....long story.

    Tah-Dah :D

Hi Joanie. Welcome aboard. Tell us everything you know (name, branch of service, etc) and we'll do our best to fill in as many blanks as we can.

:D Thanks guys...appreciate the welcome. As soon as I get my stuff together, I'll head over to the topic and give all the info I have...I assume I should use the topic that is for finding info about loved ones that served.

Slipdigit...another crazy thing about coming out of Brooklyn is that I've been a horse person all my life...where did that come from??
We have horses and beef cattle...we sell the yearling calves at the auction market.
We grow our own alfalfa hay...to feed all the critters...but our 'cash' crops are sugar beets and malt barely...we grow the malt barely for Budweiser beer...so drink up guys
