I ran across this photo earlier this week and I can not remember where it is from.... It is dated June 1979 so it was 31 years ago that I saw this. The photo is out of focus of course. I keep thinking it may have been in Michigan or Kentucky???? I remember that there was a lot of other armor around.
It could be Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Most of its collection is going to Fort Lee, VA, by the way. Dave
It could be. Just can`t remember where we went in 79 for vacation...... I know we went to DC around that time to see my Uncle in the Marines. Thanks Kerrd5, that gives me something to check out.
It could also be part of the Ft. Knox exhibit in TN. You did mention that state in your original post didn't you?

That is definitely the Hummel at the Patton Museum in Kentucky. Sorry guys Aberdeen doesn't have one. I wish they did. Oh I though they whole collection was moving this year.
