    All those innocent lives lost.

It is. Colour footage gives even more depth and emotion to those images and make them feel more real.

Color footage makes it seem not so long ago. What a horrible time in history.

    Terrible..

At one place you see a beaten up SS'er ( take that ) & at the end a woman runs through the camp. and one cry's. ( They knew it all along! )

who is that little fellow with a political triangle at the end? Was he a convict or is wearing that out of solidarity?

I have never been able to get used to this. Every time I see footage I am shocked at the level of barbarity people have sunk to. I wonder what impact it had on the youngest of the German citizens that had to tour the camp? Did it change their lives?

Reason is irrelevant. Fact is, children's lifespan was very short at these camps, he was lucky to survive.

Hideous and just plain WRONG! A warning from history about the possible consequences extremism and power.

PS. And before I get into any high handed moralizing I tend to think of my side's bombing of civilian targets. Were the aerial campaigns justifiable? Well it has not been done since.
