Whats so bull about what is the truth? Is it bull that I defended Pete on something that he is chided on by someone who obviously hates Bush and loves Jethrobama Bodine? I have not lied and I have not seen Pete come out and state that my opinion on interpreting what he said was wrong. If Pete says I misinterpreted what he said? then ill recant what I said. It really amazes me that ""The Annointed One""" is NOT allowed to be bashed on much unlike Former Pres George Bush is-and rather unfairly at that. Bush has been out of office slightly over 18 months and yet STILL he is being blamed for everything under the sun-much unlike OLDD is. I wonder when Bush will be blamed for that oil spill? If they could find a way to blame him? they would have by now.

Nancy Pelosi is already blaming Bush administration for it! lol its really hard to believe that they still blame Bush. We all know it was also Bush's fault that Hurricane Katrina occured.. Damn Bush shoulda been down in NO holding their dykes up with his bare hands!!

Personally, I really don't care if Korea goes to war again with itself or not. As long as the U.S. doesn't get involved, then I have no emotional stake in it one bit. I'm an isolationist. I believe America should just let other countries fight it out. We should take care of this countries problems first.

Figures pelosi would blame Bush. Also, I think Bush did trry to get to N/O within a proper amount of time but, it was clear that they had no great plan in mind for a disaster os huge as that became.

Sorry, I can't helpo it especially when I see the almost non-stop abuse of Former Pres Bush. Also, I have seen jabs taken at Bush Sr in recent posts here as well as even more jabs taken at Ronald Reagans expense. Someone has got to give others a differing PoV.

One thing on our new Pres, is that I did say I was going to tone it down some but the door is always open for criticism when major gaffs happen that is under his watch.

Two things I will give him a thumbs up on are: He has great taste in Suits and seems to be a great Father.

Im beginning to see things that way too. Its clear to me that Iraq does NOT want to become a democracy-so why is it stioll being pushed to a degree? Also, I also know that we have too much invested in that Country to just leave it for the birds.

    That's funny:D

    That's funnier

What? not criticize the absent minded professor in the white house, who thinks that saying kick ass on a talk show makes him a leader. We elected a man with no executive experience and has managed to prove that inexperience in every situation. The worse thing being that to many around the world, who respect only strength, he has shown weakness. There is no ability to negotiate because there is no credible threat of deterrence. The South Korean crisis is one of many examples of Obama's bush league ability.( See now that was funny)

Yeah, Dick Cheney is hiding the Haliburton Doomsday Hurricane machine in his garage. I love how Mayor Ray Chocolate Nagin, a class act and Governor Kathleen Blanco, who's name serves her well as her response to katrina was just that, Blanko;) seem to be passed over for blame.

So to you Liberals out there. Off with the tinfoil hats. Big government doesn't work, nor socialism, just ask the folks in Greece and Louisianna.:D

Darn it, I had to go read the first post again after reading the last few. Lost my train of thought. War with North Korea imminent. NO. We need to "take out" BP first! As a matter of fact is the torpedo thing still in the News?

Yupper, the Nkoreans are still in the news. They are rattling their pocket knives as loudly as they can.

Sin Son Ho - North Korea's permanent representative at the U.N. - sent Security Council president Claude Heller a letter Tuesday saying the council must not open a debate on the "the unilaterally forged" investigation results because that would fringe upon the North's sovereignty, the official Korean Central News Agency said in a dispatch from Pyongyang.

"No one would dare imagine how serious its consequences would be" over security on the Korean peninsula if the debate starts, Sin said in the letter, according to the KCNA dispatch.

Ive been hearing some interesting thoughts from the Russian North Fleet. They reported that supposedly NK mini subs were in the vicinity of the gulf (subs were seen in cuba as well) around the time of the oil right explosion and subsequent second explosion. They also went on to say there is a media blackout in the US regarding a possible NK torpedoing/sabotage of the oil rig. Not sure if there is any validity to this, kinda of interesting, seems fishy that Russia would be churning this information out though.. It should also be noted the oil rig was financed by a South Korean as well, and it is crippling our economy in the Gulf as we speak.. Not sure, time will tell..

Interesting, I thought it might have been one of those Eco-terrorist groups, like ELF or another Eric McDavid.

I've heard some "wingnut" theories, but this one takes the cake.

I'm not certain, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was at least once a year or every other year. I seem to recall one year about 15 or 16 years ago when that sort of crud was spouted about three times in one season.

Someone needs to look at a map....North Korea doesn't have anything that will reach from there to the Gulf of Mexico....including commercial air liners.

The next person that says : "North Korean Minisubs" is going to to get pistol whipped.

This doesn't look like a "torpedo" hit. This is the result of a gas/methane explosion on the rig itself, in open air. Not a torpedo attack, good grief.

Now I'm just doing this for fun but I'll test your tactical knowledge. It could be launched from a Vene tramp steamer or freighter. Crane, cargo net....not too difficult an insertion problem.....Where's that picture of Jessica Simpson:D
