Germany looks awesome at the moment. Argentina was simply nothing. I am disappointed by the Diego´s Army´s game. They did not exist in the game. there was only one team playing.... Who´s Messi? Wonder if he is named player of the year he definitely was ghost of the year last night. The WC 2010 is full of surprises must admit.

Football fans across Germany will be hoping a "psychic" cephalopod's fabled skills of prophecy have failed him after Paul the octopus predicted a German loss in their World Cup semi-final with Spain.

With a 100 percent record so far, the British-born aquarium dweller at Sea Life in Oberhausen, western Germany has become a celebrity having correctly predicted a series of German wins and even Germany's surprise group stage loss to Serbia.

On Tuesday, Paul once again was given the choice of picking food from two different plastic containers lowered into his tank -- one decorated with a Spanish flag and one with a German flag.

The container which Paul opens first is seen as his pick.

He settled on both containers at first in a sign of hesitation before opening the box with the Spanish flag.

One might interpret the hesitation as being a draw in regular time, and then a Spain win in OT or PKs.

Kicking another player in the face is a good way to wind up the other team...would have been harsh to see red though one of those 'borderline' offenses...

Yeah, my thoughts too. 3 - 1 right now (in favor of Holland). Should be a juggernaut of a final...Holland vs Germany/Spain Winner. Absolutely brutal.

Just caught the last 20 mins of the game. Holland are a class team.

    Commiserations to Uruguay.

Fabregas injured his leg on Monday during training. This might stop him from playing against Germany, then again this might be another of those bluffs they are constantly using against the opponent.... we´ll see tonight.

Bad Luck! The better Team had won! Sadly is that i dont get my Calvados from Skipper now!. It isnt bad to be under the 4 best teams in the world. Curios to see the Final game. Congrats to Spain.

From the west MED, you know Magalluf - Punta Ballena - MALLORCA - Spain :D

JOJOJOJOOJJO... probably the next time Germany would have better luck.

    Spain dominated. Deservedly won.

My pre-WC favorites certainly lived up to their names! Both in the Final!
