I went to an estate sale today, and saw a few WW2 era items for sale. I didn't buy any of them, but I did find a few WW2 books I picked up.

I was just curious if someone could give me a little more information on this dagger. They were asking $125, but seeing as I didn't know much about it, I passed.

Here are the two photos I was able to take.

bayonet is polish m1930, Left ricasso has Polish eagle over 1939. The bayonet was made to fit the Mauser M1898 rifle and the carbine PFK wz. 1929, blade has been sharpened, and poor condition, value! well below 100$ ...

Thanks for the information guys. It's obvious I need to continue reading up on this kind of stuff before I make any purchases.

sharpened? Butchered I'd say . It was probably used by a civilian for years until it was found in his garage or something. I wouldn't pay more than 20 euros for it. You hav enothing to regret as those bayos are easy to find for a cheaper price and in better condition
