I was so touched to read about what you and your wife have gone through and will continue to deal with as she recuperates. My hopes and prayers are with you as your love and commitment to eachother grow ever stronger. You both are truly blessed, despite any challenges that are presented to you.

I re read my posts this morning. I wanted to give y'all an update. Susan is OUT of her wheelchair. She has a scooter for long distance travel -- we're both in graduate school (She for Rehabilitation Counseling and me for Science Education Curriculum Design and Educational Technology) -- and a walker for around the house. We have a small house, so that works. She is now able to put about 50 pounds pressure on her right leg and sort of walk with her walker. This COMPLETELY blows away what the doc said was going to happen. Our plan is for her to walk into his office in 3 months using only a cane, LOL. Won't THAT beat all!? Anyhow, we're convinced that it was YOUR prayers, along with all the others from friends and family that did the trick. We thank you and hope you all win lotteries. No kidding. jackpots. Big ones. I saluted everyone I could in this thread, and will continue to do so.
Thank you and all our love goes out to all of you.

Hi Hummel, I must have missed your original post, but she's in my prayers now to continue to get better. Thats great news my friend. I got married three years ago, and my wife has had some health scares, and it never amazes me how much you can worry about loved ones, and the joy you experience when they get better!

Lawrence, that is absolutely great news. With that kind of determination and your support, I'm betting she meets her goal. Thanks for the update.

Missed all this business the first go-round, but sounds as if all prayers offered earlier seemed to have been delivered and processed properly. I'll help out too. Any updates?
