The German looks like (and I think is) that bad-guy from LOST - he has been in other things too. He was the one in charge of the Mercs/Soldiers...big, mean looking dude in general.
One "funny" thing I noticed, in the close up picture of his Kar98, it looks far to clean to have been in a war!
I recieved another email tonight from the film maker, and it appears he has a part 2 on you tube, it is ashort film, but once again his email freaked my laptop to freeze, which meant I could'nt copy or click on link..ray..
http://www.imdb.com/video/wab/vi547751449/ 13min version..short film.. Found it, here is part 1.. In the mountains of Germany, a Nazi deserter (Carl) stumbles upon an American soldier (Moe) who's the last of his unit. Their mutual need for food brings them together for the time being, and despite the barriers between them, they find they are very much the same. An injury Moe's been hiding can no longer be ignored and Carl has one last chance at redemption as he tries to save the young soldier's life. At first glance it seems like a re-make (rip-off?) of "Hell In The Pacific" starring Mifune Toshiro and Lee Marvin. The idea that an American and German soldier in the ETO could find themselves isolated in the same manner that made "Hell In The Pacific" plausible seems a bit of a stretch. Unless, of course, both men are deserters. Even then, they would have to be hidding out, and avoiding contact with anyone and everyone. Oh well, it's just a movie. Duckbill
there are now two youtube vids? and now combined into this movie, as far as I know it's a film short...
