    Cheers Mike, this is in the Obit section.

    Yes, as far as I know, that Sailor is still alive as of Dec 2109. I found out that he lives in Houston and I was going to try to find where he lives but lost his name and never could do anything about it.

    See this is why I love this forum.. little intersting tidbits like this that I didn't know about or ever thought to search online for.

    Unfortunately it's news of her passing, but it's such an iconic image in American history.
