Hey im will from Britain.

1. Call me Will, but ive had militant as a name for a long while and it kinda suits me.

2. 14, but i dont act like it- ive been interested in history and paticulary WW1 and 2 for a long time, i won a prize for being best in school.

3. Cheltenham, Great Britain.

4. Well, im interested in all of WW2 really, i enjoy talking abou it.

5. I have a range of hobbies, i enjoy Rugby, Basketball, Football, Computing, History and English.

6. I like the 20th century, mainly because if you think about it; it was that long ago and their are still many survivors from WW2.

7. As regards to Misc,
First ill say many of my family served in the wars; i enjoy family history as well. My grandad was a RAF Sqn Ldr in WW2 in the lancaster bombers, bombing places like Dresden and Hamburg.
My other grandad was a petty officer on the HMS Sussex.
I could go back further, my great grandfather was a Lt in WW1 seeing action in Mons in France and peace keeping in British Raj.
My other grandad was a lance corporal and he saw and survived the slaughter of the somme, he was the only person left to take charge after almost all his officers were killed.
I could go back even further as my great great grandad was a Major and fought in the Boer wars.

Ill tell you another thing, i joined another WW2 forum a week or so ago; very simular to this one infact. I made three threads, one about i couldnt get to sleep in the off topic, one about the denial of the holocaust and a third about was the british empire a good thing.

A mod then goes and calls me a twat and says my 1st thread was a waste of time, then he complained and said my signiture was too big; then he was arguing with me on my latter thread, then i told him your the one being rude, calling me a twat and arguing over something petty.

I wasnt rude, i just prooved a point; which was true.

Next day, Oh dear im banned.

Reason: See you mate.

Not being pushy, but can you please tell me what happened? what did i do wrong? PM if you dont want to discuss in the open forum but i would like to know. I wasnt rude or agressive in anyway.

Despite the fact that i was sworn at , insulted and generally ganged up on by the guys there.

Yeah , i totally agree im always sensible in what i write.

 

Ah come on; i just want to know what exacly happened and what they said afterwards (i got ip banned) PM if you like. But can you at least tell me what i apparantly did wrong; and ill make sure i won't do it here.

Okay yes i know your teling me to not carry on the matter but, surely i thought you said you knew, frankly all i really want to know is why i got banned.

All i can think of is that i made a thread about i couldnt sleep and one of the mods called me a twat and then he posted something on my profile which i ignored but then i made a thread about was the british empire a good thing and i recall him saying something obscure that had nothing to do with the topic but he kept going on about how i was "pissed" and i should "get the hell to bed twat" and all that.

So i said something along the lines of how rude calling me a twat and stop going off topic.

Just because he was well liked doenst mean he can treat me like scum and humilate and in turn ban me.
