The 16th of June 2010 was a special day for my wife, Arlene, and myself. Our baby daughter, Erin Isabel, arrived at 8:21 pm, having taken just over two hours from first contraction to first squark! A healthy 7 pounds 6 ounces, her mother refused all painkillers and gas. The only person to sample the "giggle gas" was her proud dad, who was kicked in the shins for his efforts by zealot step-daughter! After moving house and frying my computer, I'm back! (groans) Joyous occasion! Mother and baby doing fine! Computer not so good.... She's a little beauty! But, like all parents, my biased opinion counts for everything! HAPPY DAYS!!!!!
Thousands of congratulations! You have a very brave wife, if she didn't get any reliefe and she made it through, she gets my salute! I have been in two childbirths with my wife, what a special moments they are!
Congratulations, always good to have a new and healthy family member! Repair your PC sooner or later you will have enough time to use it in the sleepless nights. All the best Ulrich
Delighted is an understatement! Our little girl is bursting with health....Arlene and I are busrting with pride and joy! The world certainly looks brighter and better for it all! Regards to all onsite!!!!!
Good for you! I guess that your time here on the forum will take a back seat to those midnight diaper changes and feedings. Enjoy it while it lasts. The next thing you know you will be planning for the wedding and then you'll wonder where the time went.
Congrats to ya Volga B/ thanks for the lovely new addition to your and OUR family ;-)) On those sleepless nights and when she is starting to teeth, just remember an old remedy my Dad used on his five kids. Dip the teether in some Whiskey, and plop i into the babes mouth-it'll stop any crying everytime. No fooling-it really works oh and-you dont have to sorry about creating an alcoholic out of doing this-after all-I cant stand most spirits and rarely sip any I can stand ;-)) Anyway, thanks for the worlds newest gift ;-))
