Wouldn't it be nice to have a favorite button to click when a good thread is posted? Like You Tube.. Then surfers could go immediately to the highest viewed, etc. Also could have a personal list of fav's. Also could see who holds record for most read post. Etc. Y'all are doing a great job. Maybe I'm just not using site properly.

As for your personal favourite list, just click on thread tools, and click on suscribe to thread.
So whenever the thread gets updated, it'll pop up in your user cp.

As for the most popular thing to be viewed by other users, there is a rating system based on stars, found again under thread tools, which automatically directs the attention (if required) to that thread.

If people like the post really much, they can have the saluted posts really high, in other words they would have saluted that post many times.. :)

    Regards,
    TBA

Also if you look at the stats at the bottom of the home page, you will find that the top threads and forums are amongst the lists you can review.

Poppy, if you haven't done so yet - check out the various buttons such as the Quick Links button underneath the sign in on the home page - they help with navigating through the Forum.
