    Greetings, I'm happy to be a part of these forums and look forward to all new information. I have researched my grandfather (PFC Leonard R Wood ). Who served in the Pacific theatre and was wounded at the battle of Saipan. He was a part of the 4th Marine division and never made it off the beach in the intial wave. I have his dress uniform and it's being displayed at my office. I've put in a request PF180 for my great grandfather Kingsley Trumbo, who served in the Navy from 1944 till 1945. My family remembers him telling he served in North Africa? Can this be correct? I also have his uniform, not his dress uniform. I will await more info when i get them from the records. Cheers!
