    Hey there

I have a shoulder patch that I believe is German because of the words. the words are at the top, and the top is a little frayed, so its a little harder to read them. what i understand them, they are: BERLHIESGAUER. although the 'L' almost looks like a uncomplete 'C' but it looks more like an 'L' than a 'C'...anyway, there is four sections in the patch, the top left section is of 2 silver and gold keys crossing each other. thats the same as the bottom right corner. the top right corner and the bottom left corner is kinda hard to describe, but at the very center of the patch, its almost like a 'knights' sheild, but thats also kinda hard to describe. the biggest clue that the patch has given me is the word BERLHIESGAUER. Ive googled it, ive translated it in Bing Translator, ive done everything to try and figure it out, but i cant figure out what it means. im guessing that if i figgure out if i figgure out what that word is then i will find the patch. i will post a pic when the camera starts working again

    Regards,
    Radar

    Hello,

Skipper you´re absolutely right. It´s a tourist patch, no patch for soldiers/troops. The words on top of the patch means: "Berchtesgaden" a small city in the south of Germany (not far from Hitler´s Berghof).
