this is another dagger from my small collection, received fair and honest coment on the ss dagger shown in a previous thread.
what about this dagger ?

It looks to me like this piece has been cleaned throughly. A lot of the detail looks to be missing from the cross guard...it could be the photos but I doubt it.

The pommel also is not an Eickhorn example as they used a 'heart shaped' pommel. It is possible that this was a parts dagger...or just had the pommel replaced at some point.

I can not speak on the engraving...

Overall, it is a nice piece of history you have there Pierre!

thanks but I sold it skip, do you know someone who wants the plastic rifle bag ,I have no use for it , but don't want to throw it away,after all it still is an originall item
