The Smith is a .38 special. It has a HE-M stamp on the backstrap which is thought to mean Hesse-Munipal Polizei denoting it as a gun supplied to Germany post war. Either way its a great shooter as is the Colt. I took the Colt deer hunting last year and will do again this year.
Hi Dave, VERY nice collection. I almost had two more Inland made Carbines but passed on the deal as they were in terrible shape. Also been kicking myself ever since I let go of my Postal Meter carbine.,

Medics may be armed to protect themselves. They lose their protected status if they engage in offense operations.

It's a repro stock, I wish it was USGI, but its a decent stock and a friend of mine really likes shooting with it. I prefer the wood stock, but they fire very similar. The .45 is a Colt with matching #'s on the frame and slide.
