Militaria we hope/wish to have

I wouldnt mind having at least one Pour LeMerite, one 1939 Knights Cross (got two of its 1957 Cousins), one Hero of the Soviet Union (WWII awarded only) one of those beautiful Franz Josef Crosses, and at least one Alexander Nevsky Order.

A relatively easy one for me at the moment - the 1944-type canvas Wehrmacht rucksack to go with my 1939 cowhide Tornister.....

 

I definitely have fallen in love with this vehicle and really badly want one, The Saurer RR-7/sdkfz 254

unfortunately only 140 made so not many survivors

 

Well Nigel - I'll keep my eyes open if I get to any militaria fairs....

 

even if you find one (and thanks for looking) it would need to be for sale for less than 3 and sixpence at the moment :heartbroken:
