    Hello,

To cut a long story short, I have recently made contact with the family of my natural father. He sadly died in 1980 but I am in regular correspondence with his two daughters (my sisters whose existence was unknown to me until a few weeks ago!) and already have dozens of photos and lots of information about dad's past, which is my main reason for joining this Forum.

This is obviously a very exciting time for me and I really hope that other members can help me to find out more about dad's past. I am a WW1 nut and know virtually nothing about how to start WW2 research, so I will need all the help I can get! My first post will follow shortly.

Looking forward to getting in touch.

    Regards,

    Tony
