I wonder if tom cruise will play the part of Chiang Kai Shek? Sounds like the making of a Brown Swrily to me.

Didn't John Woo direct "Wind Talkers"?

ewww man... first George Lucas reshooting Tuskegee Airmen and now John Woo making another WW2 movie. Still, I guess it's better than Michael Bay taking another crack at it with Ben Affleck.

Or Jonathan Mostow using Matthew McChonaughey like he did in the worst U-boat movie ever made.

Two films about the Flying Tigers! Sadly it will be more about who made the better film rather than getting 2 good films. Still we can hope!

Wind Talkers was atrocious. Sounds like this one will be as well.

Tom Cruise is a pretty good actor. my favorite one with him in it was Top Gun.

Haven't seen Windtalkers but John Woo has made some fantastic films in the past and games too.

Well.. imagine those, slow motion dives with pistols... only fighting the Japanese... yah. It's that bad.

At least Tom Cruise can actually fly a plane and he owns a P-51D.

Anyone who has seen Collateral knows Tom Cruise can carry a dramatic role with ease. Even Valkyrie was tolerable despite the stigma attached to him at that time. John Woo is the problem here.
