    great film....

War is Hell - Vancouver Voice

Max Manus had an exciting life. He fought with Finland against the German invasion, then joined the resistance movement in Norway. He was captured by the gestapo and made a daring escape. He received training in England and returned to Norway to blow up German ships. The film chronicles these exploits and also follows the deterioration of Manus's will, as he turns to drink and suffers a frustrated love affair.

Wasn't Germany helping Finland until the Moscow treaty was signed by Finland? Even checking Manus's wiki page, it says he was fighting against the Soviet Invasion while he was with Finland.

Either the movie didn't fact check or the reviewer wasn't paying close enough attention. :D
