    Greetings All,

    Just joined your Forum and posted in the obits for my grandfather.

    I edited this post at the request of my family, in the interest of privacy.

    I do thank you for the replies, and I will endeavor to seek inputs on my questions in the future.

    God bless!

    Hi, and respects to your Grandfather.

    Best thing to do with your items is photograph them as best you can, then post the photos with any info at all you have about them (probably best one item per thread to save confusion) in this section;

    Militaria - World War II Forums

    I'm sure everyone will chip in and identify it all.

    The better and clearer the photos are, the easier it is :)

    I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather. My condolences to you.

    This forum is a great place to get information. You could also try taking them to your local museum if you have one. I live in a fairly small town but we have a museum that has a huge warehouse of artifacts. Someone there may be able to help you. Your local VA or VFW may also be able to help.

    Take care, Karen

    Nice to meet you and welcome aboard. Very sorry to hear about your grandfather. Another great link to history has now passed. However, with sites like this, his memory will not be forgotten.
