The left hand one appears to be the 9th grade Order of the Cloud and Banner/order of the resplendent banner; Order of the Cloud and Banner - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Chinese biplane fighter aces - 'Arthur' 'Art' Chin Shui-Tin I'm sorry but I can't identify the middle one The right hand one appears to be a grade A-1(first class) medal of the armed forces; List of orders, decorations and medals of the Republic of China - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia CoinArchives.com Search Results and yes they are Chinese, WW2 not certain - quite possibly, but couldn't find exact dates. I hope this helps
Hi, and you're welcome - maybe someone else manages to find the middle one - I came up with nothing online still. we do have at least one chinese member who might be able to translate the inscriptions - http://www.ww2f.com/members/-and-24449-and-35752-and-35199-and-22495-.html he might be worth a pm although i think his english isn't fluent.
middle is "空军功绩乙种二等奖章",means“the second-class ‘乙' Air Force Achievement Medal"! haha, first is "The Order of Cloud and Banner",,1935.6.15,spells"YunHui Xunzhang" third is "Armed Forces Medal",,1929.8.15,,,,,,,, to admire: two dragon star
The early issued Armed Forces Medal had all the same ribbons for all four medals. This one is 2nd class, grade B (ranked forth out of the four types).
hc8604 - Thanks for the info. It would be nice to see some of these medals. You wouldn't happen to have pics or links?
Your welcome. These use the current issue ribbons. The wikipedia gives the modern ribbon colors which applies to this image. Older issue uses the same ribbons as the first class-A medal.
