The "good guys" and entertainment icons are getting older, and dying off sad to say. Rest in Peace Tom Bosley, Happy Days was super.

There are two types of TV dads: those who play somebody's dad, and those who make you feel as if they could be—almost, in some way, as if they are—your dad. Bosley was the latter. His Howard Cunningham, hardware-store owner and '50s dad, could be gruff and cranky—especially with his boarder Arthur Fonzarelli—but there was also something inherently fatherly and comforting about his rich voice and rumpled dignity.

Just heard about this myself. I always did like his TV appearances. May he rest in peace.
