Own the Only Good Part of WWII: the Cossack Motorcycle | Fast Company

War is hellishly good at driving technology, and the Ural Patrol T motorcycle -- a remake of the classic "Cossack Motorcycle" -- is proof. The Ural is a Russian World War II era sidecar motorcycle that has been completely reinvented for 2011, and boasts the same benefit its predecessors did: two-wheel drive. (There's a crankshaft running from the bike's rear wheel to the third wheel on the sidecar.)

I've been trying to get my hands on something like this for quite a while,When I saw your post I thought I was on a winner till I saw the price,12 grand U.S.By the time it hits Eurozone it'll cost an arm,leg and one of my kidneys.Only last week,I was browsing a military vehicle website when I saw one of the older ural bike's painted up in german army field grey for 2,500 euros which wasn't too bad,so bargains can be found.A chinese companys website,Welcome to CJSidecar! show copies of the BMW R75 with every conceivable extra and painted up as german army machines from different theatres for sale.I've no idea of quality or price.
