    That show was so full of phallic images and blunt innuendos that I wonder if parents themselves looked at it long enough to realize what it had in it.

    I am some glad that I was raised on "Arthur" and "Power Rangers" and TMNT ;).

    One cant say all is lost however, todays children in America have shows like Martha Speaks and Science kid and Super Why. I have observed them to some extent and they are much more forward with education then those stumbling junkies in that other show.

    I watched it once with my daughter and banned it from being shown in my house.

    I was quiet disturbed by it.

    I'm not judging, if tinky winky is gay that's totally fine.... look at Burt and Ernie... They are such a fabulous couple

    Maybe it's like those kids movies that have innuendo in them that kids won't get but parents in the theater will chuckle at?

    TMNT the show was kid friendly but the comic it was based on was kind of dark from what I remember.

    Wait...Bert and Ernie were lovers? I thought that was a rumor.
