    text, from 1st link..
Never-before-seen photos of Adolf Hitler are being put up for auction next month and are expected to sell for a six-figure sum.
The 600 photos were taken by Hitler's personal photographer Heinrich Hoffmann. They are all pre-World War II.
Included in the photos are images from Hitler's visit to a SS training school and a meeting with Mussolini.
The pictures go on sale at J.P.Humbert Auctioneers' showroom in Towcester, Northamptonshire, on January 18.

Not worth the money. You can find original Hitler pix for sale on ebay all the time. There were ZILLIONS of pics taken of the guy so they certainly are NOT rare. Most not worth much either. I have 3-4 myself.

How are you to authenticate any pictures of Hitler anyway? Selling them on Ebay "devalues" the sale, IMHO. Pictures like that need to be put into a museum of some sort.

I fully agree with you. I too always thought he deserved a 2nd MoH. I saw a doc a long time ago in which they profiled Manila John BUT, it was more of a revisionist thing and they made it sound like he was trying to commit suicide when he decided to charge the Sons of Nippon, who were in his immediate area. That so enraged me that I wrote and sent a nasty-o-gram to the network that played it. I didnt expect a reply and naturally I didnt get one.

Usually its pretty easy to see if they are real or not. Its a lot like authenticating antique glassware you learn what to look for. For example on glassware--one of the easiest ways of telling if it has ago or not? is to look at the backside or bottom of whatever piece it is and if old, you knows it by the scratches and such you SHOULD see on the backsides/bottoms because of being handled and moved around many times over the years. If its been on a shelf for years and years? when you simply dust the shelf, you move the item-pick it up and lay it elsewhere-causing scrapes and scratches over time. I know you cant to that with pics but, this is just to give you an idea how to authenticate things ;-))

    Take care Ma'am--C.

I also agree. If I had the chance to stay in the USA, I would've taken it.

I cant answer for the Sarge but, I think he felt better being able to fight along side his fellow Comrades instead of being in safety, going on war bonds drives and such. But there is nothing that can stand in the way of this Gent being a VERY brave Marine. In a way, he reminds me of Marine Sar Maj Dan Daly. That man to me is the perfect example of a Marines MARINE. Manila John was made from the same cloth as Double MoH'er, Dan Daly.
