    Hello,

I am trying to find information regarding the batallions that my grandfather served with during WW II.

His name was Leland Warrick. Prior to going over to the European Theater, he was at Ft. Campbell and Ft. Knox

His records state that he was in the 8 A.D. Maint Battalion, 12th A.D. Mn. Battalion, 312th Ordnance Battalion, the 328th Ordnance Battalion and the 19th replacement depot.

He is listed as being in the following campaigns and battles:
    Rhineland GO 40 WD 45
    Normandy GO 33 WD 45
Northern France GO 33 WD 45
Central Europe GO 46 WD 45

I have not ANY luck finding out about any of these groups. Any help would be DEEPLY appreciated.

    Thank you for your time,
    Kathy Foster

I can't help you much with that type of support unit and finding a lot of info on them will be problematic. I am hoping that someone here will has somenthing for you.

Be sure to subscribe to the thread in the menu bar above, it could take a very long while for someone to respond to your request.

No apology is needed, you weren't trying to be disruptive. I hope you can get more info or at least get pointed in a good direction.
