Nazi field cap... authentic?

    ID rather give a definative opinion after holding it in my skinny hands, but from what I see, it looks good to me. Im NO expert but did have two in the last 14 years-both now long since traded away. You can also try a burn test by taking a small piece of a loose string and setting a match to it and see how it burns? If its a good clean burn? its at least period material, if it burns and sorta bubbles up-its NOT period material.

    You really need to see the lining to make any sort of opinion. We need a shot of the interior...any stamps or markings also.
