I think I had a bad day yesterday, i got temporarily banned from a very popular server because of a couple team kills(I think 5 is the limit).

The map was pretty odd, the spawn points kept changing and the enemy could walk right into your lines, the only classes available were the British and American Officer, Sniper and Rifleman class. Since the sniper classes always get taken i stuck with my Garand( I like it since it is very accurate(I usually never miss) and it has 8 round and semi-auto, the recoil isn't that bad either. The first teamkill was a guy in a building i had previously taken enemy fire from, it was a perfect headshot, he was running and i could barely see his head when he ran past the windows, it turns out he was running out of the room trying to chase after the sniper.

Then i was laying by a bridge looking towards the church, it was about 20-40 meters in front of me, i saw two people running in the shadows, right next to each other, i waited until i could see if they were friendly or not, then one of them gets shot, he was German, i fire and kill the other guy, he goes down and collapses on the church steps, and then i see the text "You killed a friendly soldier" and the guy i shot had written "Idiot".

I thought it couldn't get any worse, but then i see a person in the bell tower, and he is firing at us, i get behind cover and take a shot, i see a body fall from the tower and he was apparently a teammate.

Then i was spawn killed about 2 times, i could see the muzzle flash coming from his
G-43 Sniper rifle, 2 of my teammates and I run towards the building, one teammate gets shot, i guard the stairs in case he tries to get out, and we lob a couple grenades up, for some reason there was a teammate up there, it was on the second floor, not a big room, no other entrance than the one i was guarding, nobody had come in or out, and when i get up there, the sniper had been blown to bits by my teammate and i had taken out a friendly soldier.

Then i get shot just after i spawn, and (Un)luckily for me, i spawn at the other side of the bridge, where i can get a almost clear shot at the enemy sniper, i couldn't see him properly, i could only see his helmet and the tip of his rifle, i line up my shot and hit him, then i get the message saying "You have been temporarily banned for violating the friendly fire".

I think i killed more friendlies than enemies in that game.

That was indeed a bad day on that server. Of course no one would know that this was just a series of unfortunate incidents.

I've had games where I will go through a series of real stupid moves; it seems when you do one really stupid thing you are kicking yourself for it and it causes you to continue making stupid moves. I've had games where I embarras myself with TK's and doing something that causes my team mates to go down, and I end up just calling it a night.

I remember playing Battlefield 2 which is a very team oriented game. There is a map where you have to take a boat over to an island, and without a spawn point on the island you have to go back and start over. Our boat driven by me with 1 passenger meets up with another boat. Instead of skillfully lining up a shot I somehow hit the bail button, which ended up getting my passenger killed. This player avoided me like the plague afterwards even though we had to capture a spawn point on the island to move on. When there isn't a lot of people on a map you know when you've got the plague.

There are times when I have made a TK feel sorry about it but can't type sorry because I only have my gamepad connected. TK's happen, but a string of them makes you walk on egg shells.

Those kind of evenings can be real bummers.

I had my bazooka loaded as we were loading up a jeep when I accidentally hit the fire button instead of the one to get into the vehicle. Boom, 3 tk's and I was dead as well, all in spawn. I had to do some quick apologizing as all three were server members and one was an admin, although I was a regular and I think that helped. TK's happen and many times the person who is killed shares the blame. I get tk'd probably 5 times for every one I commit, but I'm very careful.
