Does this Army patch look familiar?

    Hi. In the photo is a patch on the left arm of a Army soldier in a Chemical Service Company in Guadalcanal in 1944. Do you recognize this patch? Any idea what it could be?

    looks like technichians chevrons.

    It does kind of look like a technician's stripes. It's about the right place for rank chevrons on the sleeve. See here for the ranks. Could be a T-5 or T-4. .Second World War Era.

    Yeah, I am going to go with everyone else, Technitions patch I belive due to the fact that they apear as technition chevrons. This interests me, ill look around and see if i can find anything similar. Sorry LRUSSO I disagree, i belive it is technition but not 4 i belive this may be technition grade 5.
