Has anyone had success in getting Unit Roster's and/or Morning Reports from NPRC? I've heard that's is difficult to get copies of these. I'd like to get one for the 18th RCT between Aug - Dec '43.

    NPRC States the following:

"FYI....The general public may not be aware that the NPRC in St. Louis is getting ready to move into a new facility in north St. Louis County within the next 30-45 days.
Needless to say, this will interrupt the processing of requests for personnel files.... and researchers like myself will not have access to the microfilm of morning reports and rosters until around June 1st.

"The archival unit (1948 & before) is now closed (as of Friday, except to review personnel files until May 1st)and the non-archival unit (1960-present) will close the first week of May in preparation for the move. Hopefully, both units will be back in operation by mid-May but it also could be June 1st."

Is there an update on the status of the above mentioned move?

That seems to confirm kerrd5's post, but with more specificity. Oh, well. No hurry, I suppose. I've procrastinated plenty already.
