Im doing some research comparing these two fighting knives. All information that anyone can give from either of these knives is very appreciated, but especially I would need information about the training. I have heard some rumours how british trained their soldiers to use these knives, but havent heard anything about the germans. Did they have any field manuals for knife fighting in WW1? Has anyone heard about them at all?

    Cheers.

The British publication is Captain W.E. Fairbairn's own 'All-In Fighting', originally published by Faber & Faber ( London ) in July 1942.I believe that a facsimile reprint was avialable a few years ago.
